We visited The Dragon at Willington on Saturday 23rd July 2022, for a family celebration of my wife's 80th birthday. The service was exemplary, both attentive and friendly without being intrusive. A definite 10/10. The food too was delicious, cooked perfectly, reasonably priced and not too long in arriving, despite the restaurant being busy, another 10/10. The whole experience was excellent and really enjoyed by all the family. The welcome, atmosphere and overall experience was well worth the visit, and the addition of the complimentary birthday board was a very nice touch. Well done all!! An ideal venue for such a special occasion. We will definitely be back again!

All members of staff that we had encounters with were polite and helpful, the food was brilliant and the steaks were well worth the money we paid. There was a young guy who had only been with you for 3 weeks who also stood out he took our drinks order towards the end of the night, he was a very nice young chap!

I had booked the Dragon to celebrate my best friend's birthday and was very concerned about the poor weather and whether the booking would go ahead or - even worse - if we would be stuck out in the rain! The Dragon were great at confirming my booking a couple of days before and also reassuring me that we were safe (and dry) under covering. After a year of not being able to socialise, the atmosphere was great and felt like a welcoming sense of normality. The staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating and the food was superb.
I just want to say thank you for making the day so enjoyable, I will definitely be returning.
