Meet at The Dragon at 10.00am for tea/coffee and a breakfast sandwich. Our chosen route is a lovely canal side walk that leads to Mercia marina and back again. Afterwards, why not enjoy a delicious drink and lunch at The Dragon.
All are welcome… Children, friends, families, dogs and pups.
Mercia Marina
Mercia Marina is located along the Trent and Mersey Canal and there are walks, trails and cycle routes. Also they offer boat trips for all of their customers starting at the marina and heading into the local village of Willington or for a further trip to Stenson Lock where they are host to a drink at their local pub or maybe a tea and cake at the Stenson Lock Café. At the marina there are many shops and eating areas for whatever taste you are looking for, from the Willow Tree Tea Rooms to The Butcher Baker Farm Shop and Coffee House.
The Boot
The Boot, is a 17th Century Coaching Inn, in the historic village of Repton, Derbyshire. It has just been renovated and refurbished, to a very high standard, and now offers luxurious accommodation, award winning classic and contemporary dishes and real ales including Boot Beer.
